Day 12 – Influence

Today’s Nudge: Write about someone who has had a positive influence on you. Link to them, if they have an on line presence. Boost their signal.

If you have been following along with me for the last couple of weeks, you may have guessed by now that my biggest positive influence in my life was my Grandmother.  She always encouraged me when there was something I wanted to do or try.  If there was something I was doing that she had knowledge of, she would coach me. If someone put down a thing I did, she was right there lifting me up.  Or putting them in their place, if need be.

There was so much that I had yet to learn from her.  I wish she was still with me to teach me all the things I wanted to learn from her. I wish I could hear her encouraging me to try something.

She was such a strong woman.  And brave.  So very brave.  I wish I had even just one iota of her courage.  I hope one day I can be even half the woman she was.

Oh Lisa, your Grandmother sounds like a wonderful person who continues to inspire you. I love the picture of the two of you. Thank you for sharing this loving story!
